Tree tomato, also known as tamarillo, is native to the Andes and a member of the nightshade family, of which tomatoes, eggplants, and potatoes are members, among others. The fruits are egg-shaped, about 4-10 cm long, and range from orange-yellow to deep red color. The fruits are sometimes eaten fresh, but more commonly consumed as juice, which is very easy to prepare with our frozen tree tomato fruit pulp.
