Papaya
The papaya is widely cultivated throughout the tropical areas of the Caribbean and South America, and is used both unripe and ripe. With a green or yellow exterior, the flesh of the papaya is creamy, typically orange-pink in color, containing small black seeds in the center. The fruit is rich in vitamin C, folate, and vitamin A, including carotenoids, as well as enzymes that assist with digestion. Papaya is delicious enjoyed in tropical desserts and smoothies with our frozen puree.
